Paver, Asphalt 8-13' 6-Ton (Blaw-Knox PF840)
A 38 hp Kubota water-cooled diesel engine combined with a two-speed Sauer Sundstrand drive motor, gives the PF-840 variable speed control from 0-33 m/min in low range and up to 67 m/min in high. Its positive direct drive system and 49 to 1 gear reduction give the PF-840 power to push trucks even on steep grades. The direct drive system includes two independent variable speed, hydraulically-powered 380 mm x 1250 mm steel track systems.
