Tack Down Curb Machine
The MC550/650 family of extruded curb machines are primarily used to place either concrete or asphalt curbing on existing pavement, hence the name “tack down curb”. A variation of this is trench curbing where the machine runs on the pavement and places the concrete in a trench next to the pavement. The MC550/650 family is capable of placing 18” curb and gutter but it is important to remember that as the machine follows the contour of the ground as it does not have automatic grade controls.
