The design for grout mix #2, 28 days, 4,000 psi:
Four 94 lb. bags of type 1 portland cement, 18 cu.ft. of washed screenings and 28 gallons of water.
The design for grout mix #3, 28 days 2,950 psi:
One 94 lb. bag of type 1 portland cement, one 75 lb. bag of mortar mix type S, 6 cu.ft. of washed screenings and 13 gallons of water.
The design for grout mix # 4, 28 days, 6,610 psi:
Two 94 lb. bags of type 1 portland cement , 6 cu.ft. of washed screenings and 14 gallons of water.
How much grout is needed?
For 8” block with 1 cubic yard: 60-70 blocks
- For 12” block with 1 cubic yard: 45-50 blocks
